Old Baby (aka The Lost Within)

Fist In Post Films, creators of the multiple award-winning* feature film THE FEED, will be shooting a new feature film in the Central Pennsylvania/Susquehanna Valley during the summer of 2014.
OLD BABY is a psychological thriller which awakens the complexities of love, infatuation, compulsion and the instability of human nature.
The story:
While reporter Jon Edens is researching for a book about people that have closed themselves off from the outside world (shut-ins), he stumbles upon a curious woman named Adelaide. Her stern, morally over-zealous upbringing within a cult-like communal group known only as "The Family" shaped her early years and has caused her to be emotionally undeveloped in relating to the outside world. Jon finds out that, shortly after the birth of her only son, a horrific house fire claimed the lives of Adelaide's husband and a community midwife. Knowing the evidence would point to her as the alleged murderer, she collected up her son and fled from the judgment of the community. Since that time she has been holed-up as a long-term renter at a distant, off-road motel. It is there that obsession is sparked and dark secrets are illuminated. Secrets that she would die for - or kill to protect.
About the writer/director:
Relying on a 25-year background in film creation and broadcast television, director and cinematographer Steve Gibson is the creator of OLD BABY and the backbone of this production. Along with a team of hand-picked professionals, as well as some great filming locations in and around Central Pennsylvania, all we need to bring this project to the screen is the funding.
The schedule:
The script has been written and registered. The bulk of our pre-production has already taken place. We finalize our casting by mid-July. In September, we shoot. In the fall, we begin the painstaking post-production process including adding additional EFX shots and mixing audio and music.
Our goal:
Meeting our goal of $33,800 would allow us to completely finish this film for a premier in December 2014. Exceeding our goal will allow us to expand our marketing campaign even further. This ain’t our first rodeo… we've learned a LOT from our previous film projects including how to keep costs low and how to plan for a seamless production.
