ORU 2016 Fundraiser

Dear friends and family,

Oregon Rowing Unlimited-PDX (ORU) is a non-profit 501c(3) rowing club for youth and adults in Portland, Oregon. We believe the skills learned in rowing support success both on and off the water. We are trying to raise $10,000 by December 31st in order keep monthly dues as affordable as possible to everyone that wants to be involved in this amazing sport.

We are passionate about rowing. We practice five days a week, rain or shine, twelve months a year. Rowing demands that teammates work in synchronicity to make their boat move fast, which requires teamwork, discipline, self-sacrifice, and perseverance. We are proud to practice these life skills with an inclusive group, where everyone is made to feel welcome and worthy, regardless of socioeconomic background or skill level.
