Gruesome Playground Injuries

Hello and welcome to NolaNow Theatre Company!

At NolaNow Theatre Company, we aim to lift New Orleans community members into the present moment through the use of contemporary themes and stories. All of our productions will be socially relevant and written within the past ten years. To support our endeavors, we plan to engage the city in community meetings, classes, and a podcast! 

The podcast will  be a space for the NOLA theatre community to share it's voice through industry member interviews! Additionally, new works will be read by writers and local actors. 

Oh, who are we, you ask?  We are co artistic directors Madeline Kolker and Coco Guillot. After working together as  baristas, we have blossomed into the dearest of gal pals, and supporters of each other's artistic endeavors.  

And who are you? I don't know..but we need your help :-) 

Our first production is scheduled for November 2018. We are producing Gruesome Playground injuries by Rajiv Joseph. It is a beautiful, intimate play about the deep love and pain surrounding two best friends. 

We are currently applying for grants, but these will not be available to us for our first production. We are trying to find funding for the following:

Rehearsal and performance space!

Compensation for the artistic team!

 Production rights!

We are trying to work on as small a budget as possible, but it is extremely important to us that we have the funds to express our appreciation to those who are a part of this process. 

Any donation, big or small, is a huge gift. We can't wait to give back to the New Orleans community, and we can't do it without you!
