Hello,

My name is Noah Licavoli and i am a member of Boy Scout Troop 7 in Savannah GA. I am currently a Life Scout and I am working  towards the rank of Eagle Scout,  which is the highest rank in Souting.  Only 6% of Boy Scouts ever achieve this difficult accomplishment. To achieve this rank, I must  perform a service project to benefit the community. For this project I plan on remodeling a kitchen/ teacher work room in my school to make it a more practical and useful space for both the faculty and students.  The school's name is Habersham School in Savannah GA.  For this project I need to raise $3000 to pay for materials for the project which consists of the following major tasks:

1. Updating all of the flooring to tile
2. Updating all of the appliances in the room (refrigerator, sink, dishwasher)
3. Installing upper and lower cabinets and re-arranging them for more useable counter space
4. Installing granite countertops
5. Building an enclosure around the power boxes
6. Repainting the walls

The Boys Scouts of America have been helping mentor boys into manhood and shaping the next generation of leaders for over 100 years.  If you believe in this mission and want to help me achieve my part of it, please dontate today.  You will be kept up to date as progress proceeds and your name will adorn a dedication plaque to be hung in the school to commemorate those who stepped up to make this project a reality.  Construction is scheduled to begin September 1st 2015 and be completed by September 30.  Any funds raised over and above the goal will be delivered to the Habersham School.

Note: Even if you can't contribute, if you could at least share this on your Facebook timeline that could help!

God Bless You!

Eagle project complete!!! We finished the 9th and final work day and finished up number of smaller details. Besides some follow up electrical work next week the room is ready for use. A total of $5300 was spent in materials and 300 labor hours to transform this kitchen. Although I didn't raise as much in donations as anticipated, I would like to take this opportunity to thank those who did step up and help make this project a reality either through donations of cash, materials, or labor. I hope this space serves THS for many years to come.

God Bless,
Noah Licavoli

Work day 8 was completed (we worked Saturday and Sunday this weekend). The countertops were permanently installed along with new sink, drawer pulls, and tile backsplash. We should need just one more work weekend to put a wrap on this project. If you have been thinking about contributing financially to the effort, the GoFundMe account will be closing soon so don't delay.

Work day 7 was completed yesterday. We inadvertently encountered a 2 week delay because the electrician preferred to wait to fall break to do work. Then when fall break came around he presented us with an unexpected $1500 bill to add a few outlets when we were expecting donated services. Well, I learned a valuable lesson in that encounter! Trying to get back and track and still looking for an electrician to add outlets for this project so please let me know if you have references. Today we added the final base cabinet on the left, dry fit the dishwasher, and installed the microwave. The counters were generously donated but they are not permanently installed until we get the electrical work down. The kitchen is really taking is final shape and looks beautiful!

Best Regards
Noah
