If anyone lived by this motto it was Nikita 'Kita' Cross. She was a single mother of 2, working and putting herself through college full-time. Nikita was set to graduate on May 15, 2016 from Stockton with her master's degree in Social Working and was apart of the Phi Alpha Honors Society.
Her beautiful soul was taken on April 23, 2016 at a family get together for a birthday party that was supposed to end in fun times and memories; only a permanent memory was made that day. She leaves behind her 18 year old daughter and 10 year old son who she was inspired by to do all it took to make a great life for them.
Kita's funeral is Friday, April 29th and as you can imagine, even with life insurance, it's not easy on the pockets to arrange. We, her family, ask that if you have it to give, any dollar amount contributed would greatly help lift the financial crisis we are left in to help support her children, her home and her funeral/medical expenses.
