A Wheel Chair & Lift For Nick

For 21 years Mary Ellen & Nick Cerino have lived a life very unexpected than the one they imagined on their wedding day in 1984. Since my father's accident, my mother has been his primary caregiver, and provider for our family. They have never asked for finacial help in all this time. However, currently my father needs a new wheel chair, and my mother must come up with the 20% co-payment for the insurance, which is $6,000. In addition to the this, my mother has been using a Hoyer lift for the last two decades, this is a manual lift that she has to push across the floor, with my father in a sling. This is getting very hard for her to do, now with her back. She needs to install a ceiling mounted lift, and track system, that will be motorized and allow for easy transfer of my father from his bed, to his wheel chair, and to the bath tub. To have this type of lift system install in their bedroom, is another $6,000. These are medical neccesities that are needed inorder for my father to continue to receive the excellent care my mother provides for him.
