My MacBook Pro has been with me through a lot - leaving a bad relationship, helping me connect with the greater world, and currently allows me to help create heraldic art for many in my hobby of the Society for Creative Anachronism.
Unfortunately, my MacBook is over five years old and while typical for aging computers, the sudden failure of a hard drive is devastating.
I am asking for $2000 for a new MBP with a peripheral disc drive so I can keep using the programs that I already own to create more pieces. Ideally, I would like to try to raise all funds in a month, as I can limp along on my tablet until then.
To all who donate, I will be glad to create a custom piece of digital art, especially those with heraldry registered with the SCA College of Arms.
