Hello friends and family,
Many of you know our beloved Natalie Carpenter as a wife, a mother, a sister, a daughter, and a loving friend. She is someone who has always been so full of laughter and life. That has all changed dramatically. Natalie was diagnosed in December with cervical cancer. Her diagnosis was sudden and heartbreaking. We soon quickly learned that her cancer had metastasized to other parts of her body including her lungs, liver, and lymph nodes and she is now considered stage IV. Her transformation has been life altering for her, as well as, for her loving family. The chemo and required medications have severly taken a tole on her eyesight. She is unable to work and she has to rely on help to perform any tasks that relate to their home business, checking accounts on the computer, paying bills, or even reading and responding to her own cellphone or facebook messages. She has to undergo agressive chemo therapy every three weeks for the next several months. Even though she has lost her hair, 40 pounds, her taste buds, and her ability to do many things for her self she remains positive and filled with gratitude. In order for her body to prepare for chemo each time, she has to have weekly intravenous fluids, anti nausea meds, steroids, and supplemental iron because she has grown so weak. The nature of her diagnosis requires many doctor visits, different procedures, scans, and most of all medications. We are trying to reduce the financial stress so that Nat can focus on beating this nasty disease.
This is where you all can help. Any and all donations received will directly support Natalie and her cancer journey. Natalie is extremely grateful for all of the love and support. The fact that she is unable to respond to all of the messages personally makes her sad. She has the biggest heart of anyone I know and she deserves a miracle. Thank you! XOXO
