NWFRS Charitable Society Sun Run

The New Westminster Firefighters' Charitable Society is raising money to support the BC Professional Firefighters' Burn Fund, specifically the 2018 Burn Camp - a cause which allows young burn surviors, ages 6-18, to spend a week amongst peers also dealing with similar post injury challenges (see link below). On average it costs the Burn Fund upwards of $3,000 to send 1 survivor to camp. All proceeds will be donated directly to the Burn Fund on July 15 at the 2018 Burn Camp Kickoff.

We will be collecting pledges leading up to the 2018 Vancouver Sun Run on April 22.  What makes us special? We will be participating in the Sun Run while wearing our firefighting turn-out gear (Jackets, pants, and air packs)...That's 10km with an extra 50lbs. Please help us obtain our goal and send a young burn survivor to camp!
