Castle School Fundraising

Hi, we are Team Cutlery from NCS Northumberland! For our Social Action project, we are raising money for the Castle School. Due to government cutbacks, the budget for the special needs department has been drastically reduced. We are raising money so that the school can buy more equipment for the PMLD (profound multiple learning disabilities) students, allowing them to continue to learn and grow. By raising money we will provide a stepping stone to the children being able to participate in activities they wouldn’t otherwise have the opportunity to do. This will allow them to be more involved in their local community and prevent isolation, as oftentimes due to various circumstances their parents are unable to take the children out.
