"Every actor has done it at some point but few would admit it. In the theater world—a world known for being home to misfits and art geeks—Dinner Theater is still the kid that gets picked last for dodgeball. But to the people that have made it their life, there's more to the story.
The Mystery Mansion Dinner Theater started almost 30 years ago and has outlived over a dozen venues, employed hundreds of actors, performed thousands of shows, and gone on stage through personal and national tragedy. Even as community theaters struggle and close around them, the Mystery Mansion carries on.
Their survival is due to more than just their blend of interactive campy shows, zany characters, and seasoned improv. It's due to the love and dedication of the people who refuse to let the laughter die. This is their story, an underdog story."
