Myranda's YWAM Mission Trip

Dear Family and Friends,
Arvo everyone! That means good afternoon in Australia. In just a few short months I will be off to the land down under to be God's hands and feet! As many of you know, I graduated from William A. Hough High School this past spring. For several years now, the Holy Spirit has placed a calling on my heart to use my gifts and talents to serve those in need. Specifically, I have a strong desire to work with young girls and women. My hope is to show them the love of Christ, and teach them that they are beautiful, worthy and capable of great things in this world.
On January 22, 2017 I will be departing on a mission’s trip to Australia with Youth With A Mission Discipleship Training. I will be in Australia for three months for my lecture phase of the mission’s trip. During this time we will be studying God’s word, listening to speakers, learning in class time and growing in small groups. The last three months I will be in Cambodia where we will be working directly with the people in the communities. Once in the communities our hope is to do outreach projects, pray with people and just be a Godly source of support for them. I realize that I'm only one person, but I feel working alongside my new team and peers that we can truly make a difference.
Many people do not get the opportunity to go on a mission’s trip, but that doesn’t mean you can’t be involved. I would love to have all my friends and family in prayer for our mission’s trip. Specifically, that we are safe and accomplish great works in the name of Jesus. Another way you can participate is financially. This trip is being funded entirely through donations. I have been working full time and saving all summer long, but I still need financial support. Any contribution at all would be greatly appreciated.

and where I am, my servant will also be.
My Father will honor the one who serves me.
I am truly excited to see what God has in store for this mission’s trip.
