Meet Darth. Hailing from Canandaigua, N.Y., Darth has been battling leukemia for the last 14 years - although you wouldn’t know it if you just looked at him. Darth refuses to let his diagnosis affect his love of being a self proclaimed “machine”. He wants only to be defined by his hard work, sacrifice, and ability jump into any situation and CONQUER!
Darth has completed more than 50 Tough Mudder competitions, which involve military-style obstacle courses and endurance sequences. As if that wasn’t enough, he has also run 37 half-marathons. Even though he has a strong presence, Darth is a gentle soul and loves to work with others to achieve their physical fitness goals. He volunteers with Habitat for Humanity, Toys for Tots and, and other charitable organizations.
Darth has been living with crippling leg pain and has only one option, leg amputation. However, his insurance doesn’t cover the cost of surgery. This campaign will help cover the cost of his leg amputation as well as assist with his bone marrow transplant treatments.
