Since 2014, Faith Empowered Ministries a non-profit organization. We focus on transforming neglected and underprivileged communities by meeting their educational, physical, spiritual and emotional needs. The Effort is a grassroots approach to undo many years of poverty and neglect.
We are excited to announce our vision to purchase our church, community outreach, and resource center. This purchase will be vital in our continued effort and desire to impact our communities.
Since our beginnings, we have assisted displaced families with accessing and securing housing. We have been instrumental in feeding the homeless, equipping children with tools, and supplies as they return back to school, providing second chance opportunities for ex-offenders, and assisting in other areas as needed.
WE NEED YOUR HELP!
This communitty center will provide a warm and welcoming family atmosphere for individuals in need. Every week, The Center will provide thousands of families with food, clothing, counseling, utility, job and housing assistance.
The center will be equipped with a one of a kind computer lab for job searches and resume writing.
Low-income families, working families, impoverished senior citizens, and countless children will find a loving and helping hand at the Center.
The center plans to give out over 10 thousand pounds of food each week with the help of dedicated, loving and caring volunteers. We realize that many participants come to Social Services for various reasons. Many have experienced different challenges, and are living with social problems including inadequate income, job loss, educational insufficiencies and broken families. Many recognize the need to have a relationship with God, who is able to supply them with whatever they require. But whatever the need is, we want to be there to be their bridge across troubled water, and to show our appreciation to the families that we serve.
