Monica's Breast Cancer Treatment

Donation protected
Let me introduce you to Monica Varsenik Hakobyan-Galstyan, a devoted wife and loving mother to two precious little angels. Monica is also something else... she's special. She's one of those rare, inherently good, and selfless souls you come across once or twice in a lifetime.
A few years ago, Monica was faced with some life changing news, and with it, an unimaginable decision that needed to be made. You see, Monica and her husband Art were expecting their second child in 2013. They were overjoyed until about three months later when disaster struck. Monica noticed a lump growing in her breast. A visit to her doctor confirmed her fears... she had developed breast cancer. To make matters worse, the cancer was growing at an exponentially rapid rate due to the increase of hormones caused by her pregnancy. Chemo therapy was out of the question, as it could be fatal to their unborn child. Therefore, the doctors recommended a full mastectomy. However, they warned that the strain to the body from the surgery could also potentially harm the baby. As I said, Monica is special... She refused the surgery without a second thought to ensure the health of their baby. Happily, in January of 2014, she gave birth to a very healthy and very adorable baby boy.

Unfortunately, Monica did not fare as well. Her cancer had increased to stage four, the last and final stage. Monica proceeded with multiple rounds of chemo therapy, and while it seemed to help at first, her health would begin to deteriorate again shortly after the sessions stopped.

Yet, throughout all this, Monica has not given up HOPE!

There is a revolutionary treatment in Switzerland at the Paracelsus Klinik Lustmühle specifically for her progressed stage of the disease, However, Monica, Art, and their families have completely exhausted their resources fighting the disease this long and need your help for this potentially life saving treatment.

Our goal now is to raise $75,000 to help Monica and her family pay for this treatment before it's too late.

Please donate what you can for a wife, a mother, and just all around truly special person to live the life she deserves.

Thank you <3
