Hospice Mom's Christmas Stolen

Donation protected

Maggie is my soul mate.   We have had a wonderful and fruitful marriage, but sadly Maggie developed a brain tumor.  After two crainiotomies, radiation, and chemo she is now under hospice care.  My Name is Steve as a faithful husband I worked as a ground and flight paramedic for nearly thirty years.  When my wife became bedbound.  I took a leave from work to care for Maggie.  She has been very strong and still is the best mother and wife that she can be.       Last night we found ourselves victims of Identity theft.  We have been living with Margaret's Social security and SSI income of just  $755 a month.  With all tests of faith our 4runner finnally died of head gasket and broken engine.  We relied on Social Securities Direct Express Card that is issued to people instead of the traditional  checks that were mailed out.  We have since found out that the Government's Master card is not FDIC insured, will not refund our account until an investigation of 45-90 days is complete.  I have also found that the Company administering the cards often refuse to refund checks on a regular basis.  I wish we had googled Direct Express before someone in Florida emptied our account minutes after it was drafted.  We live here in rural Virginia.       We have no way to pay our bills, celebrate Christmas with any gifts to our two children.  Chloe (11yo) and Jordan (17yo), who do not have large expectations.  They are great kids at heart.  We can not even pay our internet/cable bills.   They do online  homeschool so they could have more time at home right now.   As a husband and father I just don't know what else to do!
Maggie has been distraught about all of this since the 1st.  She has short term memory loss, so  I just have to explain it over to her what has happened.
We need funds to open a USAA checking account.  I was an Army Flight medic in the late 1980's, and If anyone has a vehicle they are interested in donating that  has room for a wheelchair we would be very grateful.   We were trying to save money to  purchase a replacement used  vehicle.

We need funds as soon as possible!
