My name is Michael Edwards let me tell you a little bit about myself,
     Im 19 years old and live in Las Vegas, Nevada; i have a beautiful 5yr old son and an amazing fiance oh i forgot to mention i was origiannaly born as a female. on April 28th 1997 a baby girl was born named Minna Edwards she grew up playing and having fun in the dirt, cops and robbers, and climed trees, She never really felt like a girl though, she hated dresses and girly things she liked monster trucks getting muddy and used to make herself look like a boy making mud beards using marker and drew them on and so on. She was about 8years old and cut her hair off she resented the fact that she couldnt use the bathroom like a boy or that she had female parts. She got a little older 10 and 11 and started gaining major attraction towards females and more or less felt like a guy she was then called a lesbian by her friends from school and found it acceptable to find a girlfriend; but somehow even dressing like a boy dating a girl being called a lesbian it still didnt feel right in fact it more or less hurt she started feeling like she shouldve been born a boy her family didnt understand why she wanted to shop in the boys section or why she always wanted her hair cut short her mother and father hated the idea hated that she acted like a boy hated that she never had a boyfriend hated the way she dressed and such so she tried for the sake of her familys approval she started trying to dress like a girl as she had done multiple times tried having a few boyfriends but it hurt her heart so much she couldnt handle it she spent multiple nights crying in pain that she couldnt be who she was crying because she hated how she was she hated hearing her name she hated looking in the mirror and the body she was born in. when she was 15 years old she started watching tv and youtube and heard about transgnders and their stories and noticed they were explaining how she was feeling she found an ace bandage in her house and bound her chest she put on a tshirt and jeans and took off her makeup and seen she looked even more like a boy it warmed her heart she started going by a nickname she had aquired "Shane" it felt so good although her family still dissapproved she knew she had to for the sake of her mental health this is how she felt and it was time. She still felt out of place every night taking her ace bandage off and it hurt her chest and back she turned 17 and came out as transgender to her family and bought herself a binder it was more comfortable but still hurt she started using male pronouns binding everyday went by shane bought a packer and had a girlfriend he still wasnt happy right before his 19th birthday he called a clinic and got an appointment he went in and that day got his prescription for testosterone he had never been happier a week later he had his first shot and instantly noticed his voice change he has a shot every week and has been working towards getting his name changed theres one problem now he has an appointment for top surgery and cant afford it that boy that man is me. I've been through hell this is true but i rarely ask for help but right now im asking for help i need the help i have an appointment with my dr to figure out which method of surgery theyre going to do for my top surgery and i have 11$ to my name im asking for the help because this is something ive been waiting for for a long time dysphoria is very real and its been tearing me apart more and more since its summer once again and i cant even swim like a normal man with my son and fiance;  so any donation i get would be a blessing ive dreamt of getting this surgery for so many years and would be more than greatful to finally have it .
