Mia & Adam Lawrentz Fund
With the tragic loss of their father, Greg Lawrentz, Mia (5) and Adam (3) are doing as well as can be expected for such young kids to lose the most important man in their life. Though we can never replace their fathers life, we hope to provide a cushion and some normalcy to remain as time passes. Please consider donating even the smallest amount to help cover child care, clothing, holiday gifts and other items that Greg would have normally supported. We hope that these kids will always remember how much their Daddy loved them and that they were his pride and joy. Thank you.+ Read More
We are just under $1500 away from our goal and would like to make a last push to try to reach our goal for Mia and Adam's fund. It still feels surreal that it has been over 2 weeks since Gregs passing and the kids still ask for him or about him daily. Please consider donating or sharing this fund to friends or coworkers to help this family financially while coping with this loss.
Today marks 1 week since Gregs passing. 1 week tonight in fact. It was also 1 week ago they celebrated Mia's 5th birthday with her dad and their families. It is a memory she can keep with her forever. Adam is having a little more of a difficult and not grasping the fact that he can't hug his Daddy right now. I was reminded today that this will be a struggle the rest of their life but their mother and families will give them comfort during the difficult times. Thank you once again for all of the generous donations and sweet messages. Tomorrow are the calling hours and Tuesday is the funeral.
The kids are doing well and talk about their Daddy often. Just wanted to post a picture of Greg and Adam today. For those that didn't know, Adam is actually named after his dad, his full name is Adam Gregory Lawrentz which is Gregs first and middle name flipped.
