Mexico Relief/Help

Good Afternoon!!!
Just wanted to update everyone:
I was able to get ahold of the Mexican Red Cross and I will be assisting in Mexico City in medical services. 
I will be using my nursing experience and skills. 


I have also invited my sister (Jumara), to join me in this journey to help Mexican citizens in greater need. 

We must always help those in greater need, when and if we are able to.

Hello Everyone, 

My name is, Juan Medina-Echeverria.  
I reside in Fremont, CA 

I also currently work as Nurse at Urgent Care and in the ER as well. 
Furthermore, I am student at, The School of Public Health, UC Berkeley. 

After watching the news and seeing all the terrible aftermath of the 7.1 earthquake, that struck Mexico city, I want to go and help in any way possible. 

I could align myself with the RedCross, but there's too many layers of red-tape to sign up and I don't want to wait to help. 

My plan is to fly out there this Friday morning, September 22nd, and return back home either September 24th or 25th. 

My heart goes out to all the lives lost and to the many more lives waiting to be saved.

My goal is to show up to Mexico city and help in anyway possible.
Wether it's using my skills as nurse to provide aid and/or picking up a shovel and help clear out the buildings.  

Yes, there are already aid arriving to Mexico, but many more hands are needed.   
I could donate money to the red cross, but I would personally love to help in any way possible. 

The amount of requesting is to cover my round trip flight.
I will also be recording the aid and will be happy to share with any donor/public.

Any help will greatly be appreciated.

Mi nombre es Juan Medina-Echeverría.
Yo resido en Fremont, CA

También trabajo actualmente como enfermero en la atención urgente y en la sala de emergencia también.
Además, soy estudiante en, la escuela de La Salud Pública, UC Berkeley.

Después de ver las noticias y ver todas las terribles secuelas del terremoto de 7.1, que impactó la ciudad de México, quiero ir y ayudar de cualquier manera posible.

Podría alinearme con el RedCross, pero hay demasiadas capas de burocracia para inscribirme y no quiero esperar para ayudar.

Mi plan es volar allí este viernes por la mañana, 22 de septiembre, y regresar a casa ya sea 24 de septiembre o 25.

Mi corazón se va a todas las vidas perdidas ya las muchas más vidas que esperan ser salvas.

Mi meta es llegar a la ciudad de México y ayudar en lo todo posible.
Ya sea usando mis habilidades como enfermero para proporcionar ayuda y / o recoger una pala y ayudar a limpiar los edificios.

Sí, ya hay ayuda llegando a México, pero se necesitan muchas más manos.
Podría donar dinero a la Cruz Roja, pero personalmente me gustaría ayudar de cualquier manera posible.

La cantidad de solicitudes es para cubrir mi vuelo de ida y vuelta.
También estaré grabando la ayuda y estaré feliz de compartir con cualquier donante / público.

Cualquier ayuda será muy apreciada.
