Update:
Thank you to all of our amazing donors!  Your generosity has allowed us to move forward with the second phase of the charity formation.  We now have an amazing logo and are incorporated in Fl.  The next step is filing a 1023 with the IRS so that we can achieve tax exempt status and start the real work.  Unfortunately, we will not be able to use the 1023 EZ form which is the cheapest form for the 501c3.   Our interest in research will mean that we have to file the full form which is $400 to file or worse the long form which is $800.  After our first fund raiser we can afford the $400 form so lets hope for the best!  After we receive our status we are going to launch several start up projects and begin looking for principle investigators interested in working with our group.  Additionally we are adding the wonderful Dr. Stephanie Waggel to the team.http://improvemedicalculture.com/   She will be a tremendous asset in developing projects. We are now ready to share this campaign so please spread it around social media.  Thank you for your help.  I can't wait to clean up this mess with all of you.  We deserve more from our healthcare!
