With the passing of time, and changing events in Eric's battle with cancer and the subsequent health complications, many of you - family, friends and acquaintances - have asked what you could do for Eric (and Cheyanne) in this phase of his continued struggle.

Eric has been transferred from Self Memorial's Critical Care Department  to Hospice.   This decision was obviously made by Eric, Cheyanne and immediate family with the guidance and information given by Eric's medical team.  With the failing of major organs to provide and sustain Eric's life in a quality manner, he chose to not be on a prolonged life support.   As hard as it is to even think about giving up and Eric leaving us physically, it is even harder to know how much pain and suffering he has gone through.  The obvious choice is to allow Eric's last days to be spent comfortably, pain free, and surrounded by those he loves and who love him.  He has been such a mighty warrior, and his battle is nearing its end

This fund will be transferred to the costs involved and related to this time, including the impending burial and final expenses.

If you would like to help in any way, it will be most appreciated by Cheyanne and Eric, as this is one huge way to take some of the pain and stress from their remaining days together, and of course, to Cheyanne as his survivor afterwards being able to meet the financial expenses.

Your prayers and outpouring of love and support have been such a blessing, and have seen them through many rough and troubling days.  Continue to pray for both and lift them in prayer to God Almighty for His precious love and healing.  YES, ERIC will be healed and delivered from the grave!!  Amen and God bless each and every one of you.  LIVE - LAUGH - LOVE!!!

Many of you know of Eric's continued battle to be WELL...his Hodgkins' remains in remission since his miraculous bone marrow transplant from August 2009 at NIH.  Cheyanne, Eric's parents and I were there to "witness" this life-giving and saving process.   From a personal observation, I can tell you I have never felt CLOSER to heaven than at that moment.   It was perhaps one of the most thrilling times of my life to see that little bag of bone marrow flowing into Eric's veins, and knowing that it would hopefully be the end of CANCER...that horrible "c" word.

Along the journey, Eric has suffered many resulting illnesses and complications due to his compromised immune system (which is all but non-existent).  These have left him in the hospital for the majority of the past year!  Cheyanne remains by his side as his caregiver.  Their dedication and struggle to have their HAPPILY EVER AFTER is painful to witness.

May 17 will be their 3rd Wedding Anniversary.  To his friends, family, loved ones:  Please share this site, so that we may all give a little and support them.  The financial stress is huge (medicine and care even with insurance is a tremendous financial burden).  The costs of hospital visits (and in Eric's case weeks and months of ICU), co-pays, lost wages, and other expenses add up quickly.  Cheyanne has had little opportunity to work during this year.  Their debt will be a lifelong thing...but perhaps if we all give just a bit here and there we can make that LESS of a burden.

God Bless You All - for your prayers, for the cards, for the words of encouragement, and for your financial contributions.  Both Cheyanne and Eric are thankful for each and every one of you being in their life.   Continue to lift these two young warriors in prayer - that is the gift that keeps on giving!

Again, thank you for your kindness and love!  Without you and your prayers, God's love and mercy, we would not have Eric with us today.   Our prayer is always for Eric's healing, peace and strength and the ability to PAY IT FORWARD whenever the opportunities are given us.

As Cheyanne always says, value your family and loved ones.  Give them the most valuable gift of all: yourself, your time, and your love.   "Live-Laugh-Love"
