Mavericks In Seoul

Ladies & Gentlemen, my name is Arlo Maverick and I am a Hip-Hop Artist from Edmonton, Alberta Canada. I reach out to you today, to ask for your help with a very exciting opportunity that has recently been opened to myself and my band.



THE EVENT

Zandari Festa has established itself as South Korea's largest music showcase festival. This annual event takes place in Seoul's Hongdae area which is the epicenter of youth culture and is labelled as ground zero for the country's indie music scene. For three days in October, Zandari Festa brings together musicians and music industry professionals from around the world for concerts and conferences located at more than 20 venues around the Hongdae area.

THE CAUSE

My team and I will be showcasing at the Zandari Festa in Seoul, South Korea  for a total of 3 days. The money raised from this campaign will  go towards flights, hotels, food and ground transportation for myself, Arlo Maverick, my band and my road manager for our Zandari Festa 2017 showcase. We will be flying out to the festival on September 27, 2017 but need to book our flights and hotels before September 22, 2017.  This is the first international festival that my band I will be performing at and it could lead to more showcase and touring opportunities overseas!

Some of my expenses outside of flights and accomodations include:
• Band per diems - FOOD
• Ground Transportation - Buses, Taxis
• Equipment rental
• Paying my band members and road crew

Last year I debuted my first solo album Maybe Tomorrow and am currently in the works to create my follow up album.
