Mother and Children Needing Help

Early this morning Mariah Arseneau
and her three children experienced a great loss. Their family home, uninsured and full of their belongings, burned beyond repair or salvage. They are all safe, but are left with nothing more than the clothes on their backs. In Carbondale we take care of our own, and as these children and this single mother work to put their lives back together, this is the moment for us all to be part of their recovery. Accepting financial contributions that will take care of the short term, such as food and clothing, as well as gather support for the future. Mariah is an amazing mother, someone who has survived and worked and provided for her family. She will need a lot of support to rebuild what she had and though financial donations are appreciated, there is also a need for housewares, clothes, and all basics. Thank you, all of you, for being the community and the place that rises up when things happen. Thank you.
