Malibu Riders Woolsey Fire Recovery

Our dear friend, mother, sister, mentor, and riding instructor, Laura Toston, is in need of immediate assistance due to the devastation caused by the Woolsey fire. It has placed her entire business and all of the Malibu Riders employees in a terrible position. The fire burnt through her beautiful pasture in Agoura that houses 21 horses leaving them cooped up in small muddy stalls. It also destroyed all three of her trail locations used to give guided tours in the National state parks (Paramount Ranch, Malibu Creek State Park, Zuma Canyon) with no indication on when they will be safe to ride again. As a result she has lost her business. Without any insurance coverage Laura is now left with no source of income for her and her son, 21 horses to feed and care for, repairs to the pasture and stalls, and 15 employees she can no longer afford to keep. Her house did not burn, but she still may loose it.
For over 25 years Laura has been giving guided horseback rides and is known as a staple in our community for opening up her home to family, friends, and strangers. Right now we are asking for anything at all to help them survive and get back on their feet. Anything from monetary contributions, hay, manual labor, equipment for rebuilding, etc. would be much appreciated. Please support us in helping Laura as she has done for so many others. These funds will be withdrawn by Laura to use as she needs them to slowly rebuild and keep her horses fed and healthy.
