Make A Move To End Bullying

Donation protected

Did you know that more than 25 million families are traumatized by bullying in the U.S. today?* Bullying has unfortunately happened throughout history, but if you watch the news or read the newspaper, you can see how much it has escalated over the years. With the aide of social networking sites and mobile devices, children are no longer able to escape once they get home. Bullying can now follow them wherever they go. Schools have implemented bully prevention programs, laws have been made to help in the fight, but we as individuals need to also join the fight against bullying. We cannot sit back and stay silent because the losses are too great. Too many children have taken their lives. Too many school shootings have happened because of retaliation. Too many children are harming themselves to deal with the pain. But, together we can help raise awareness and teach others how to prevent bullying from occurring.
For those of you who are unaware, October is National Bullying Prevention Month. It's a time to spread the word about bullying and the effects it has on our schools and communities.  However, October is not the only time the bullying occurs and therefore we need to all pull together and work every day to end bullying.  I created this website because not only do I want to raise awareness about this important cause, but also to help raise money for an amazing organization that fights the battle against bullying every day.
Teach Anti-Bullying Inc. (TAB) is an organization located on the East coast in Havertown, PA. Their mission is to assist schools, communities, and organizations nationwide with the development of bullying prevention. They conduct school assemblies, training in bullying and school violence prevention, outreach programs, as well as assisting families that have been victimized by a bullying situation. They are truly inspiring and I am honored to be able to help raise donations for such a deserving group of people. The video below, courtesy of Teach Anti-Bullying Inc., gives you an insight into what they have been able to do this year.

As a mother who has watched her own son struggle with bullying at school, I know the effects it can have on the victim. It's time for us to come together and make a stand against bullying and one way you can help is by making a donation.  Any donation is welcome.  Help us bring an end to bullying and make the world a safer place for our children.
