Marshall Symons
on behalf of Major Brooks
 DETROIT, MI
Greetings, My name is Marshall Symons, I am the owner of Motorcity Pedicab and I am organizing this campaign on behalf of Major Brooks, The Peanut Man. He has sold peanuts at the Detroit Tigers Baseball Games for almost 50 years.  He keeps his Peanut cart and Moped in the same garage as I keep my Pedicabs.

I went to the garage yesterday and he told me that someone had stolen his Moped. For nearly 40 years he attached his peanut cart to a Schwinn Bicycle and rode it to the Ballpark to sell peanuts. As he has aged he had to get a Moped continue his work and to tow the cart to his corner where he works.

I am hoping that the Tiger's community will rally around him and help get him rolling again. I would like to get him back on a Moped by the next homegame series. I think that Major represents the hardwork and struggle that make this city what it is.

Onward and Upward,

Marshall Symons

Wow, We are nearly halfway there. It's awesome how people have shared this on social media and made such generous donations! Thank you to everyone who has helped to get Major Brooks back on the road and doing what he does best. Eat 'em up, Tigers!

Lisa what Kim meant was why would someone steal something like this. Obviously because they are greedy but this is just especially low even for a common thief.
