My name is Bryan Cox, and I am the founder of Magneto Innovations, a company that specializes in printed magnetic sensors. Magneto Innovations goal is to find innovative ways to integrate printed magnetic sensors into existing and new magnetic sensor applications. I started the company after finishing graduate school to commercialize my research into printed magnetic field sensors. The sensors are different from other magnetic sensors on the market because we can print them onto substrates such as plastic, paper, and printed circuit boards.
Overall cost is low for printed magnetic sensors, and their value increases when a product or application needs magnetic sensors to cover large areas. The sensors are also slightly flexible and transparent. These features open up a wide range of possibilities for printed magnetic sensors to be used consumer electronics, industrial, automotive, and medical products and applications.
I have two granted patents and one pending patent all related to printed magnetic sensors and relevant applications. I was able to attend the Printed Electronics Show last year in Santa Clara, CA, where I showcased the technology to potential customers and industry partners.
I am working to launch linear position sensor products that use printed magnetic sensors. The linear sensors will be able to track the absolute position, speed, and acceleration of a magnet that slides along the sensor.
Every month I am making progress into commercializing the sensors, but I have now exhausted all of my savings. Bringing a sensor to market takes time and many other resources. I am asking for your financial support so that I can continue working to commercialize printed magnetic sensors. I have talked to companies large and small, and they all agree the technology has merit and look forward to buying the sensors, once fully developed. Your support will go to things such as patent fees and further R&D for printed magnetic sensors.
