Madaya Families - Urgent Food Need

Children are starving to death. Living under one of the worst and most violent sieges seen in Syria, Madaya children are starving. They are starving to death.
We cannot sit by and watch. We know this is happening and we have to do our part.
Children are being fed water with weeds, water with salt, water with spices - if they have access to even that. The situation is dire.
Food prices have rocketed, but we have to pay the price. It is us helping - or them dying.
Madaya and Zabadani are areas outside of Damascus presently in a political battle between civilians wanting to live peacefully and freely and Hizbullah and the Assad regime wanting to take over these two towns.
Our concern is not to solve the political battle that is costing lives every day, but to save lives. And that we can do by collecting funds and buying food locally, paying guards and having the food sent in to be distributed to civilian women, children, the elderly and helpless. NuDay Syria has a strong, focused team there, and we are ready.

3. Your relationship to the parties you're raising funds for
4. How the funds will be spent (be specific as possible)
5. How you intend to get the funds to those in need
