MRMS Adopts a School Project

$1,000 goal

Campaign created 7 months ago
What is a great way to teach students perspective on world events and empathy at the same time?  Have them adopt a school going through a crisis and build and maintain a relationship with its students throughout the school year.  We want our students to learn that even though the effects from Hurricane Harvey may be soon out of the headlines they will forever be felt by the children who went through it.  Our principal, Mr. Dalton, recently stated to our student body, "Imagine how much an entire school can accomplish when working together." Let's take this a step further and see how much a community can help another community in need.

It is the goal of Molalla River Middle School to raise money to help the students at Alvin Jr. High in Alvin, Texas. The MRMS 8th Grade Beta Club will be coordinating  a fundraising event at our school, but would also love help from others.  All money collected will be sent directly to Alvin Jr. High to help students who have been affected by Hurricane Harvey.

Thank you for supporting our project.
