MRCP Prescribed Fire Cache

Working in the Rock River Valley in Lee and Ogle Countries, Middle Rock Conservation Partners (MRCP) assists local government agencies, NGOs and private landowners with on-the-ground habitat projects and natural area maintenance. Due to lack of funding, knowledge and/or past land use, many of our remaining natural areas are in need of a periodic fire schedule to maintain the biodiversity on the landscape. With this fundraiser, the MRCP will be able to safely carry out prescribed fires on more acres during upcoming fire seasons.

Middle Rock Conservation Partners is a registered corporation with the state of Illinois and is designated as 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. Included among the educational and charitable purposes for which the Corporation (MRCP) is organized, is assisting and coordinating with citizens, agencies, and non-governmental organizations in working together to protect and steward habitat for species in greatest need of conservation in the Middle Rock Region.
