Help MPA! Help Skinny Minnie

Minnie was at Memphis Animal Services for four days when our volunteers met her.  They thought she was dead in her kennel she was lying so still with every bone protruding.  She was brought in as a stray, weighing an emaciated 5 lbs.despite her large tortie frame.

The next day after we requested she be evaluated by shelter vets, she was on the Critical List.  She needed more care than they could provide at MAS and we could not stop thinking about her. 

Thanks to a volunteer dropping everything to go and transfer her out of MAS, she is at our vet awaiting a full workup, accurate age estimate, blood panel, urinalysis and the works to see if we can save her.  

Despite her obvious pain and condition, she is loving and bright eyed and has a spark we can't deny. 

This is an unexpected but worthy cost for our small cat adoption program.  Will you help us help our Minnie get the evaluation and care she needs? Updates to follow as soon as we know more.
