Hello and Welcome to Our 'Merica's Memorial Day Bash Fundraiser!
If you were lucky enough to attend Drew and Laura's 40th Birthday Bash, or you've heard stories, you know it was an unforgettable party on a scale of music festival proportions!!
The best way to describe it is to share personal experience. Last year at this time, we did not even know Andrew and Laura Sulkowski. Through a very dear mutual friend, we were invited to their party knowing only that it was a joint 40th birthday celebration, it was going to have a Wheatland vibe, and the lead singer from one of our favorite 90's bands, Vin Dombroski from Sponge, would be performing with his other band. Knowing that this mutual friend only hangs with good people, we knew 'they' had to be good people.
Ok, sure, why not...
Fast Forward one year later.
We have created some pretty incredible lifelong memories together, that night and in the year to follow. Drew and Laura will undoubtedly be friends of ours for the rest of our lives. They are amazing souls and are working hard to raise 3 little busy amazing souls. The way that they opened their home, their hearts and their lives to us and everybody that attended their party last year and since then was and is........amazing.
And for that, we want to show them our appreciation and offer our assistance in creating an even more unforgettable party this year!
Which brings us to this page.
They thought that it was going to be a once in a lifetime sort of party...
Due to the success and outpouring of love and support, they've decided to do it again! And all of the entertainment from last year including a new act you won't want to miss will be there too!!
The music festivities will start with the acoustic eclectic bluegrass sounds of Company of Strangers including Laura's own brother-in-law Geoff Galliher. Transitioning from there into the blues vibe of Mid Life Crisis Blues Band . Coming up next is something you likely have not seen before and will never be the same after... The Kung Fu Lovers . Followed by the ambient techno beats of Corey Huhn. The night finishes, or the dawn starts...with Detroit's own Orbitsuns , rocking until there is nothing left to rock!!
As you can imagine, there are many details and responsibilities involved in creating a party of this scale. In addition to securing the bands and other entertainment, the grounds will be equipped with lavatory and wash stations as well as some electrical and many rustic campsite hook ups. Food and beverages will be provided, condiments, party accessories and delicious slushies from Slushy Star LLC . They truly spare no detail!!
We are trying to assist in offsetting some of the expenses of this event by providing a fundraising outlet for those that are able to contribute. In addition, we have a couple of fundraising events planned between now and the party...a Bikini Car Wash and a Kid's Face Painting Day!!

If you are not able to donate to the party fund itself, there are many other volunteer opportunities or potluck contributions that would be of tremendous help.
*All funds that are donated to this account will be 100% used to offset expenditures of the event and we thank each and every one of you for your support.
Truly the overall goal is to just have as many friends and family attend as possible, so please do not feel as if you need to contribute to attend, your attendance is the ultimate donation!!!!
