MM1 Chris Hixon, USN, Retired was a former member of NOSC Miami NSF Key West. He retired from the USN after 20 years of service five years ago. He was known for going above and beyond to help his shipmates.
Tragically, on Wednesday February 14, 2018 he was killed while serving as the Athletic Director at Marjorie Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland. From the reports of the surviving staff and students, MM1 Chris Hixon, USN, Retired put his own life in the line of fire to save countless more. Yesterday we as a community loss a great shipmate and a great friend, however his smile will resonate with us forever. Let's band together and support his family in their time of need.
The proceeds will be allocated to his sister Natalie Hixon.
