Mary's excursion to Namibia

Hi everyone!

For those of you that aren’t aware yet, I will be heading to Africa this Friday, May 7, for a veterinary internship working with cheetahs. This will be my first international experience to Africa and I cannot even contain my excitement to learn more about the motherland!! My internship will be with the Cheetah Conservation Fund, whose headquarters are in Otjiwarongo, Namibia. CCF is the world’s leading organization dedicated to saving the cheetah in the wild. Through scientific research, CCF has been able to create a set of integrated programs that address threats to both the cheetah and its ecosystem, to include human populations.
