Nepal Muscular Dystrophy Support

Thank you for visiting our page! My name is Himal Mool and I live in Bhaktapur, Nepal. We run a Duchene Muscular Dystrophy centre here to help support children affected with DMD, which is a neurological genetic disorder affecting males that causes the inability to activate muscles as they age. This centre is more of a homestay where we all live communally and function as a family to provide care for the boys and for each other.

Since the April earthquake our neighbours and ours homes have all been damaged. All together 9 families have been living in a couple rooms or in the garden and sharing one kitchen. We would not ask for help before but now our food and supplies are low and our income has been cut short. It is difficult to feed everybody and get medications for the boys. Any money raised will go directly to providing us with the simple things to live, such as food, water, shelter, warmth and medicine. We cannot thank you enough for your help and honestly the smallest donation will help us more than you can imagine!
