#MD4PTSD
Back in 2014 my wife bought me my first metal detector for Christmas. I found it to be adventurous but also relaxing. This was right around the time I had returned from Afghanistan were I picked up a mild case of PTSD. I found the detecting helped subside my anger issue and fearful thoughts. After serving in the Air Force for 20+ years, I'm using my experience and the great community of my hobby to give something back to our returning service members. This non-profit will help buy metal detectors from a pro-military manufacturer (Minelab) a give to a veteran who is diagnosed with PTSD through the Veterans Affairs (VA). Along with the machine, they get to go on a hunt with MD4PTSD members some of which are YouTube icons. Please help this cause, thank you for reading.
