Animal Sanctuary

The main purpose of the Luna Mars Animal Project is to establish a permanent sanctuary for unadoptable and hard to adopt shelter and street animals. This would be an open, cage free facility where the animals would live in a homelike environment rather than a typical cage based shelter. Our sanctuary would work closely with community shelters and other rescues to help save as many animals as possible and to establish a culture of no-kill.

To make this a reality we are pursuing efforts to raise the required funds to purchase a suitable property and prepare it for housing animals safely and securely. Two properties have been identified. Both would grant us the ability to rescue cats, dogs and horses and house them long-term and permanently if need be.
