Our Love Story:
Charlee and Luke met through a mutual friend on May 17th, 2013, when Charlee was visiting NJ for the first time. They made an immediate connection which resulted in a years-long crush that survived through their internet-friendship and a yearly-ish visit. After coming to terms with the fact that they had fallen in love by December of 2016, enough was enough. In March 2017, Charlee finally found the courage to ask Luke if he wanted to date them. He said yes with his eyes and his voice before his lungs could catch up, and since then, they have been dedicated to eachother and to the betterment of themselves.
Luke's Transition:
Luke has been on testosterone since October of 2018 and is pursuing top surgery as soon as we can afford it. We previously had a fundraiser on YouCaring (before GoFundMe purchased it...) and were able to raise a little over $1,300 towards this surgery. In total, we need $11,750. The GoFundMe amount is lesser only because we HOPE to be able to save some of our own money towards this, as well. However, we may raise the GoFundMe amount if we cannot seem to do so.

Literally any amount helps. If everyone we knew could give us a couple dollars, we wouldn't have to ask for money. Please, even if it is $3-10, we appreciate it so much. In the very least, please share this fundraiser and encourage others to share so that it can reach people who can give to our cause. We can use all of the help we can get.
