If you are new to the story, our dog Lucy was lost by her pet sitter while her family was on vacation in Europe. Lucy was found after 21 days and had endured a terrible three weeks. When she was evaluated at the ER, it was evident that Lucy had been victim to the torture of Dog Fighters. She had been terribly abused with 11 of her teeth having been sawed off with the goal of using our sweet girl as a bait dog.

There has not been a day that has passed since our dog Lucy has been found that we have not been overwhelmed with gratitude – gratitude for everyone and everything that was done for us! It truly is a miracle to bring Lucy home and we are basking in the happiness we feel every time we see her sweet face.
To bring Lucy home took an extraordinary effort that literally involved hundreds of people and thousands upon thousands of dollars. Thanks again to everyone who helped, donated, prayed and sent positive encouragement.
Lucy is a young dog and has a full life ahead of her as a loved member of our family and as a Service Dog to her Mom. We are asking for assistance to help us get Lucy's teeth fixed. Since they are healthy teeth that have only been sawed down exposing roots, they are more difficult to remove. She will have to have a couple of surgeries that will exceed $5,000 so any amount that you can contribute will be received with great love and thanks.
After the surgery, we will be setting up a foundation to help other owner's with lost dogs with simialr plights. Please, follow and "Like" Here:

Notice the cut on her nose. Dog fighters often wrap wire or tape around the snout in order to keep the dogs mouth closed to easily lift the gums and saw down or pull out the teeth.
