Our 5 year-old nephew, Grayson Horowitz, has just been diagnosed with T-cell Lymphoma . This fund is an effort to support his parents, Larry and Vanessa as well as their 8 year-old daughter Scarlett.
Grayson is a free-living, fun-spirited, happy boy. He truly lives by no rules and always wants to have fun.
On Friday 2/24/17 his life would change; My brother and sister-in-law were concerned about some swelling in Grayson's face so they took him to the ER thinking it was just an allergic reaction.
Soon after being admitted into the Pediatric ICU, testing beginning quickly. After doing a CT Scan the doctors found a large and aggressive malignant mass tangled in his esophagus and very close to his heart.
Grayson's recovery is going to be a long road from here. Doctors believe chemotherapy treatments will most likely go on for about two years. He has already shown how strong he is and is staying in positive spirits.
We want to alleviate whatever financial pressure Larry and Vanessa are feeling and will be faced with in the weeks, months, years to come. Funds raised will go towards insurance deductibles and medical costs to help ease the family's financial burden. Asking for help is never easy..
