I am Jeremy Mclin originally from Baker/Zachary, Louisiana. I helped last year in my home state after the catastrophic flooding and we raised $12,500.00. Now the flooding has hit my current city League City/Houston, TX....please help me help! We are just Humans Helping Humans!! All donations will be used for hot meals, clean up, supplies, clothing, and donations to Local Groups. We were able to help so many last year and would love to be able to do the same this time! HOU-DAT!!!
I just got back to Houston this evening. It has been a long 5 days and we are just getting started. I have not been able to post much due to several factors: little to no phone and internet signal, no time to video when your helping as many as you can, and its very hard to video people who have just lost evrything. I did manage to take some videos and will compile them and post soon. As for now I have to rest and recharge to get back over there and continue. Our race right now is against the mold so we are working on getting mold spray in bulk.....please stay tuned and thanks for your support!
We have troops on the ground helping people clean up. I am headed to Baton Rouge with a truck full of supplies and donations. As promised, we will be updating everyone as we deliver and distribute all funds raised. We have connected on a Facebook page and will post updates starting today. Please follow this link… https://www.facebook.com/redstickrelief/ and like this page (Red Stick Relief) to receive updates throughout the entire process. We would like to thank you again for your support as we are only humans helping humans!

If you post you physically handing out stuff purchased by donation I think it would really help your campaign. Not saying you are trust worthy but the way the world is today peolple are leary. You could even use the go live feature on FB. Make sure it public so it can be shared and put your gofundme link with it. Then people could see your amazing efforts in real time. I am just trying to help . You are amazing person to be doing what your doing. Good luck!
Thanks Jeremy for the updates! Keep up the good work and may God bless your efforts and the people affected by this heartache and disaster!
Hi Darla, I have personally taken off from work for the next two weeks to make runs between League City/Houston and the Baton Rouge area. It would be great if you could help organize a drive....the more the better! “Let us try to teach generosity and altruism because we are all born selfish.” » Richard Dawkins
My friend's Aunt is driving out today with donated supplies and I sent 2 big bags of clothes. We are in the Clear Lake area. Do you have other drivers going out from here? Maybe I could organize a food/supply drive and someone could take them over? Would love to help. Pics remind me of so many floods here. Tragic.
Jeremy, you are AMAZING!!! I know how rough it is to be watching our HOME from our homes so far away (I'm in NC now). Way to step up and do what you can from where you are!
Hi Nora, I apologize for just now seeing your post. I am the creater for the the fund and was born and raised in Baton Rouge. I am working my regular job along with juggling communicating with and organizing drives with people in La and Tx...among many other states. I appreciate your concern and I can see what state your heart is in!!! We are honest people and really just Humans Helping Humans! Please feel free to ask questions and raise concerns as we are all in this together!
Nora Vega this is my nephew and he was raised right here in the affected area. His dad (my brother) and our family are still all here. I can assure you that these funds will be delivered to those affected...it is more then the mind can even comprehend ...it is complete devastation. Jeremy will be traveling home to help. Thanks to each of you...
if your in Texas, how are you getting it to la. people
Thank you to all that have and will be donating. I personally did not loose anything, THANK YOU LORD! However, I have MANY friends that have. If you can not donate monetarily, please find a donation center and donate physical items. There is a need for EVERYTHING. Jeremy is in the Houston/Galveston area, and I have family in the Austin Area that is taking donations to bring here.
Thank you Jeremy!!! It has been an exhausting 5 days. I'm proud to call you family!! I know you are anxious to get back home and help out. It is so devastating and the flood damage is more then you can imagine. Love you and THANKS to anyone willing to help! I know for sure these donations will reach flood victims. #Louisianastrong
