Our Dad Louie's ALS fight
In October 2015 our dad was diagnosed with ALS (Lou Gehric's disease) :( After months of falling for no reason, bizzare muscle twitching and unexplained muscle loss our family got the devistating news which shook our world.
Our father is getting weaker by the day, but is fighting with everything in him. He works out his muscles the best he can but, they are deteriorating rapidly. He is now walking with the assistants of a walker which is becoming increasingly difficult for him to do. He will soon be in a wheelchair which is a reality that is hard for him and us to face. Our dad is trying to keep his spirits up the best he can through his family, friends and faith. We as a family have been helping the best we can. My mother has been such a God Sent and devoted life parntner as he is going through this, she is also his main care giver. She recently switched her shift at work to half days so she may take care of our dad. This will soon put a huge financial burden on them as her temp time is depleting. Your donations will help take some of the financial burden away so more focus can be spent making our dads time easier..
Our dad Louie is a kind hearted man with a huge giving heart. Anyone who as ever needed his help has received it and then some. He was a devoted teacher for many, many years and his impact on some students has changed their lives.
He loves his family, friends and he is devoted to his faith.
