Lotus Mountain Retreat Repair

Lotus Mountain Retreat  is a cozy lodge located just down the hill from Bolton Valley Ski Lodge in Vermont. Visit our website at www.lotusmountainretreat.com , We run a small hotel that has 12 comfortable rooms with king size beds and a fireplace.  If  you've visited lately you can tell our little hotel needs urgent repairs.  We need to put a roof on our dome, and insulate it.  We are in dire need of new new bedding to include mattress pads.  We don't have enough linens to keep us supplied if we have a full house. Our front steps need repair, and we need to build an awning so guests don't have to bring their luggage in from the parking lot when it's snowing or raining. The wood siding needs to be treated with new coating. (it's loosing it's crisp wood look).   Our boiler that supplies our hot water and heat has broken down lately, and we need back up money for emergencies.  The company car is in need of a new radiator and snow tires. The needs list goes on and on. 

In addition to maintenance needs, we also need to make available more beds for more guests. We want to focus on creating a 24 bed Hostel for world travelers, college students, and more retreats.  Travelers can benefit from affordable accommodations while skiing or hiking on the beautiful trails that can be accessed right from our property.  We urgently need to build this Hostel before snow season starts this year. 

The funds from our GoFundMe  will repair our property, replenish our emergency funds, and rebuild our bank account.  We'll buy bunk beds, bedding, lockers and electrical outlets for our Hostel.  We'll buy a dishwasher, snow plow, and fire wood for starters. But keep the money coming in, and we'll find sustainable ways to spend it. We're counting on those that love us at Lotus Mountain Retreat to keep us going, and keep us open.
