Save the Loons Fishing Derby, NH

My name is Ryan Buchanan and I am a Freshman in highschool with some big goals.  I started a fishing derby over 2 years ago to raise money and awareness about saving the Loons.   The money raised will be shared between the Chocorua Lake Conservancy and the Loon Preservation Committee.  I have paid for all of the other supplies myself and have had generous donations from local businesses including the Scandanavian Bakery, Yankee Smokehouse, and Phantom Fireworks.  There have been so many unnecessary Loon deaths due to lead poisoning which can completely be avoided with education.  As with last year, there will be representative from the Loon Preservation Committee assisting with information and ways that you can save the loons.   This means so much to me because the Loons belong in the environment, their sounds are so beautiful, soulful and unique and they are such graceful majestic birds.  Could you please donate $10 or $20 or whatever you are able to contribute towards saving the Loons?  Every dollar counts.  On behalf of myself, the CLC, LPC, the Loons and environment as a whole, THANK  YOU!!
