Alex Goodwin Jr., 22, was sleep at his home in Berkeley, CA with his niece and sister when intruders tried to break in. Alex was a hero and to protect his family he went to the back of the home and was met with gunfire. He passed away early Friday morning on August 19th. Alex was quiet and humble, and always smiled when approached with love.
Alex was a proud and popular figure in the Berkeley community with a wildly known big smile and unforgetting personality. Known amongst his loved ones as "AyeGee", an artist with a unique amount of versatility and creativity, he was apart of the Berkeley collective #NeighborhoodHeavy and a huge fan of the Golden State Warriors.
