Examined by a physician, optometrist, pediatric eye specialist, neurologist, and oncologist finally brought them bad news.
Their baby girl is diagnosed with neurofibromatosis, a genetic disorder that triggers tumors to grow. For Lizzie, it is on her optic nerves. The tumors grow on nerves and causes skin fragment changes and bone deformities.
