The Landry Farm was established in 1983. Donald and Frances Landry have spent the last 33 years cultivating a simple life in this 110 year old farm house. The Landry Farm raised 3 children and countless farm animals. Donald Landry is a retired US Air Force Veteran, bowling “House Champion,” avid fisherman and guitar enthusiast. Frances Landry is a caring and giving member of many local school districts and an always present face at local Native American Pow-Wows. Two of their grown children live at home. The youngest, David is an Afghanistan Army Veteran and active National Guard member. Renee is a current student two years out from finishing Veterinary school. Their eldest daughter Hattie is an Occupational Therapist and currently resides in Pennsylvania.
On June 19, 2016 this beloved farm house was destroyed by fire. All family members are safe, although one family cat remains missing. The Landry’s are mourning the loss of irreplaceable family heirlooms, photographs and memories. Damage is devastating, but anyone who is familiar with this family know that plans for moving forward are already in motion.
Even though the house was insured, the cost of replacing items and cleaning up the damage is adding up quickly. This is where we need your help. Please give what you can to help assist with the recovery and rebuilding of their lives. Proceeds will be used to start the removal/disposal of debris, recover essential items for Renee who lost her University text books, passport/visa, and electronic school aids; and to help David get back on his feet.
