Love Steps Forward - Hamilton, ON

It is with a mixture of emotions I’m announcing that I’ve  completed my certification as a Stillbirthday Doula. This certification enables me to support families who are birthing in any trimester, with any outcome. Beyond my previous training as a birth doula which primarily prepared me to attend full-term births with live outcomes, I am now better equipped to support families experiencing unexpected loss, medical termination, fatal diagnosis or preterm birth with live outcomes.  

I wish to provide doula and counselling services to families experiencing such difficult situations without the senselessness of financial strain. The "Love Steps Forward" fund will cover the expenses involved in providing support and will allow families to access care at no cost to them. Contributing to this fund is a meaningful way to express compassion and support to families in our community.  Any amount is deeply appreciated and will be stewarded with utmost integrity and respect.
