Laguna Plein Air Painters Association celebrates a Special Milestone!
20 years ago a tradition was started - The Laguna Beach Plein Air Painting Invitational. Held every year, the best of the best plein air painters are invited to Laguna Beach to paint and celebrate the tradition of the early plein air artists.
We wish to thank all of our donors whose contributions have made our dream of publishing our first hardbound book come true! This special book will showcase the Invitational history and top award-winning artists who have helped celebrate the legacy and became part of the tradition.
With the combined donations made through this campaign and directly to LPAPA, we have reached our $20,000 fundraising goal and the book is in production! "Best in Show: The Laguna Beach Plein Air Painting Invitational, 1999-2018" will be released October, 2018.
With the total production costs exceeding $30,000, we could still use your help. Please consider making a donation to our nonprofit organization to help us share our story!
All amounts are gratefully accepted and help further our mission and support our education programs. Donate $65 or more and we'll send you an unsigned copy of the book as a thank you!
