Save Prince from a life of darkness

Prince is a 7 year old Shih Tzu who was dumped by his owners when they found  he was suffering from severe diabetes.  Not only was he sick, he was homeless.  Last Chance Rescue took him in, and after a few months his diabetes was fully under control and his insulin was reduced.  A few weeks ago Prince started struggling with his eye sight, and is now living in complete darkness.  After a consult appointment with an opthamalogist LCR was told this condition can be reversed, however the window of opportunity is a short one...4 weeks or less as the retinas will soon detach.  The surgery will cost $3,770.00 which the rescue does not have.  We are desperate to save him from a future of darkness and despair.  Our little Prince needs your help...PLEASE
